Hey, I’m Dylan—founder of Dylan Skelly Fitness. I’m a certified personal trainer (workouts), nutrition coach (food), and online coach (success) with over 14 years of experience in the fitness industry. But before all that? I was just a kid who felt completely out of place in his own body.
Growing up, I was the overweight kid. I avoided PE, hated how I looked in photos, and never really felt confident. After high school, I decided it was time to change. I cleaned up my habits, got active, and dropped the weight. That transformation sparked something in me. It showed me what was possible with the right mindset—and made me want to help others do the same. So I became a personal trainer.
For years, I worked with people one-on-one, helping them feel stronger, healthier, and more confident. I loved it. But here’s the part most coaches don’t talk about…
In my mid-to-late 20s, life caught up with me. Stress, work, relationships, and the usual adult pressures all took a toll. My old habits crept back in, and before I knew it, I’d gained over 30kg. I was frustrated, exhausted, and felt like a fraud. How could I help others if I couldn’t even help myself?
That moment—painful as it was—turned out to be one of the most powerful in my journey. I had to start again. But this time, I had more than motivation—I had experience, tools, and perspective. I took everything I’d learned over the years and applied it to myself in a new, more balanced way.
I took action...
Not the perfect plan. Not a 12-week shortcut.
Just small, consistent steps — starting with hiring an accountability partner, a coach (yep, even coaches need coaches).
From there, I rebuilt my habits:
- I moved more (even when it was uncomfortable)
- I ate better (without starving or cutting out the foods I love)
- I fixed my sleep
- I cut back on the booze
- I showed up — consistently
The Results? Life-Changing.
✅ I dropped 30kg
✅ I rediscovered my confidence
✅ I regained my energy and focus
✅ My mojo came back — in every sense
✅ I felt strong, capable, and proud again
Why I Coach Now... Because I’ve been there (twice).
I know what it’s like to feel stuck in a body that doesn’t reflect who you are.
I know how hard it is to ask for help, to take that first step, and to keep showing up when life pulls you in every direction.
That’s why I do this.
To guide men like you — who want to get back in shape, reclaim their energy, and finally feel in control again.
This Isn’t Just About Fat Loss. It’s about:
- Reclaiming your health
- Setting an example for your family
- Rebuilding your self-respect
- Living with purpose and strength — inside and out
If you’ve ever looked in the mirror and thought, “I don’t feel like me anymore”—you’re not alone. I’ve been there. Twice.
That’s why I created Dylan Skelly Fitness—to coach men who want to take back control of their health, lose the belly, gain muscle, boost their energy, and feel proud of the person they see in the mirror again.
